This was the soap that made us launch Collingwood Soap Co. We have a lot of favourites in the line, but our Lemongrass recipe is the staple. Not only is this bar wonderous in scent, but Lemongrass helps to open pores while the astringent properties of rosemary unclogs them. This is a wonderful balancing act for oilier skin.

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil — deeply conditioning and gentle on the skin

  • Coconut Oil — creates a rich, cleansing lather

  • Palm Oil — adds hardness and a long-lasting bar

  • Shea Butter — nourishes and helps maintain skin softness

  • Castor Oil — enhances lather and skin feel

  • Water

  • Sodium Hydroxide — used in traditional soapmaking (not present in finished bar)

  • Lemongrass Essential Oil — bright, fresh, and uplifting

  • Rosemary Essential Oil — herbaceous and invigorating

  • Poppy Seeds — provide gentle, natural exfoliation

  • Sodium Lactate — improves bar longevity and texture
